Our industry leading wireless client is searching for a Project Coordinator with a telecommunications background and zoning or urban planning experience for a long-term project.
Supports a project team with assigned projects including correspondence, various administration tasks, tracking project deliverables, dates and monitoring deadlines; provides regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise. Project coordination skills is required and telecommunications industry experience is a plus.
This position will support the Site Acquisition Services team with assigned projects and/or any of the following as assigned: correspondence, various administration tasks, tracking project deliverables, dates and monitoring deadlines; provides regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise.
Essential Job Functions
●Provides various administrative support across team.
●Updates necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with
●Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external).
●Assists with administrative preparation for various meetings.
●Provide ad hoc reports as requested.
●Issue vendor POs, as needed.
●Monitor services property pool and assignment of task.
●Complete No Zoning and No permit letters and determinations.
●Perform site assessments and customer scrubs
●Lead database updates to ensure data is evergreen.
●Support permit extensions, permit renewals, and/or GC name changes.
●Compliance with Crown Castle's financial policies especially for payment to municipalities,
consultants and vendors including Checkbook, Accounts Payable, and Credit card policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning
• A minimum of one (1) year in a telecom industry with project coordination and/or administration experience.
• Computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to learn a variety of tracking and project management software
• Excellent organizational/administrative skills
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Words
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
