OSP Permitting Specialist / Joint Pole Use Management - Pittsburgh, PA area

We are currently recruiting for a full-time OSP Permitting Specialist / Joint Pole Use Management based in the Cranberry, PA area.

The ideal candidate will have experience with OSP Permitting with Make Ready and the Utility /Telecom Joint Pole use process knowledge. You should be knowledgeable of the pole application process from submission to acceptance and have the ability and experience to challenge application discrepancies when necessary.
$75k-$82k DoE

You will interact with vendors, utility/telco companies and internal personnel (design and permitting) to review and provide appropriate build documentation. You should be able to review the JPA applications and other JPA documents in order to facilitate the permitting requirements.
You should have experience related to aerial fiber construction, node construction and related utility make-ready work and have familiarity with Rules for Overhead Electric Line Construction. NESC standards and Public Right of Way rules. You’ll be reviewing permit applications and managing ROW issues. Manage construction applications & documentation recording construction field changes. (Red lines). Experience managing personnel and vendors is also required.
