Our client is looking for a Construction Manager to support a telecom network project. Candidates must have experience with Scoping, vendor/GC management, QC, Close Outs. This is a direct to hire position and will require travel to sites in Seattle market.
DOE 90-100k/year
The Telecommunications Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications towers for a variety of clients. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have experience in project management, construction management, and telecommunications tower installation. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the construction and installation of telecommunications towers, including site surveys, design, procurement of materials, and construction scheduling.
Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Prepare project reports and updates for management and clients.
Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and make recommendations for corrective action when necessary.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to tower construction and maintenance.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications tower construction and installation.
Proven project management skills, including experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to telecommunications tower construction and maintenance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing projects for wireless carriers, tower companies, or other telecommunications providers.
