OSP Design Engineer (Bedford County, VA Area)

We are currently recruiting for an Outside Plant Engineer to be based in the Bedford, VA Area. This is a 2 year contract position helping to design, engineer and deploy Fiber to the Home (FTTH).
Pay: $40-$46/hr DoE
You should have experience with Outside Plant Fiber Networks from preliminary design through to a fully implemented solution. You should be comfortable with field design and permitting and be equally comfortable working in both a home office and a field environment.
You should have familiarity reviewing design specs and documentation. Creating workflows and processes and developing and maintaining project schedules. In addition you should have good vendor management skills.
Solid computer skills are a must (Excel, CAD).
We are looking for someone that can become the "Go to" person that can build long-term relationships in this market.
