Our client is a leading player in the telecom industry, is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a high-profile telecom network project in the Albuquerque market. If you have a background in managing macro sites, wireless tower projects, and possess strong vendor/GC management skills, we would love to hear from you. Candidates with prior AT&T project experience will be given priority consideration.

Position Overview: As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of telecom construction projects. Your role will include vendor management, site inspections, project scoping and deployment, cost negotiation, issue resolution, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and coordinate with vendors and general contractors (GCs).
• Create Bill of Materials
• Ericsson equipment experience
• Conduct site walks and create punch lists with GCs to ensure thorough construction closeout.
• Scope and deploy project plans effectively.
• Negotiate costs within the project scope to maintain budgetary constraints.
• Solve on-site issues and provide recommendations to ensure project and budget adherence.
• Perform quality control (QC) to ensure all work meets construction standards, processes, and procedures.
• Manage project closeouts and track project progress.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Experience and Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience.
• Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing RF Sweep test, OTDR, Power Meter, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing for SCS.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
