We are seeking a skilled ISP- Headend Deployment Engineer to join our client’s team in the Atlanta , GA area. In this role, you will support the installation of Telecommunications Network Hardware and Infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, RF active and passives, optical splitters, optical lasers and receivers, equipment racks, low voltage DC wiring, grounding, fiber guide, Unistrut, ladder rack, structured cabling, fiber optic cables, and CAT 6 cables.
This is a Full-time, Direct Hire position. Pay Range $30-$38/hr. DoE. A company vehicle is provided.

We are seeking a skilled ISP- Headend Deployment Engineer to join our client’s team in the Atlanta , GA area. In this role, you will support the installation of Telecommunications Network Hardware and Infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, RF active and passives, optical splitters, optical lasers and receivers, equipment racks, low voltage DC wiring, grounding, fiber guide, Unistrut, ladder rack, structured cabling, fiber optic cables, and CAT 6 cables.

Role:
- Read and follow engineers’ instructions and specifications, maintain the scope of work on the project, and adhere to safety procedures
- Prepare engineering field notes and interpret engineering drawings, on maps and in the field, making recommendations for changes as required
- Travel as required depending on business needs
- Proficiency with basic tools and construction practices
- Understanding of communication networks and cable installation practices, including dressing cables, lacing, and terminations
- Strong computer skills with a focus on IP Networking Configuration
- Knowledge of basic DC power plants
- Familiarity with fiber optic cable types, the make-up of fiber optic cables, and manufacturer specifications to prevent damage
- Experience with various manufacturers ISP racks, cabinets, ladder rack, fiber guide, and termination panels
- Proficiency in cable testing procedures and the use of test equipment
- Understanding of inside plant safety measures, including data center security processes and adherence to those measures
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Competence in reading and understanding ISP diagrams/drawings and maintaining accurate field notes
- Strong Cisco Network IP Configuration and troubleshooting skills
What will catch our Eye:
- 5+ years of relevant job experience, particularly in similar industries or roles with similar essential duties
- Recent experience in the CATV network industry (Cable TV Data Centers)
- Field of Study: CATV Headend Equipment deployment and configuration
