We are looking for a "War Room Construction Manager" to support our Telecommunications Client in the Mid-West Region.
This will be a remote based position.
In the telecom/wireless industry, a "War Room Construction Manager" typically oversees the construction aspects of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to timelines and budgets, often acting as a subject matter expert and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Oversight:
The Construction Manager is responsible for all aspects of construction, including vendor selection, on-site management, and coordination of subcontractors, OEM installers, and customer representatives.
- Project Management:
They ensure projects are completed according to agreed-upon timelines and budgets, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Subject Matter Expert:
They serve as the expert on construction issues related to towers, collocations, DAS, and small cell projects, including in-building and public right-of-way deployments.
- Stakeholder Management:
They attend deployment and other customer meetings, advising and influencing decisions of District and/or Program and Project Managers.
- Vendor Management:
They participate in vendor selection processes and develop relationships with vendors and customers.
- Safety and Quality:
They are responsible for ensuring construction safety and quality on projects.
- Coordination:
They coordinate activities related to above and below-ground fiber installation, hub construction, node construction, and related utility make-ready for DAS and small cell projects.
- Reporting:
They may be responsible for reporting on project progress, issues, and risks.
Experience Required:
- Must have experience managing time-sensitive service-affecting equipment swaps for a major carrier
- 5+ years of wireless telecommunications required
- 3+ years of progressive Project Management experience is required
- Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams required
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills is required
