Telecom Project Coordinator (Fiber)

Our client a broadband contracting company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Telecom Project Coordinator to support the execution of multiple network construction and maintenance projects. This role focuses on coordinating schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and maintaining project documentation from start to finish. This is an in office and field role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for multiple fiber and coax network projects.
  • Assist Project Managers with scheduling crews, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve escalations.
  • Prepare and maintain project trackers, reports, cost documentation, and invoice support.
  • Support compliance with safety regulations (OSHA and industry standards) and ensure proper PPE use.
  • Monitor and report on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain tool inventories, vehicle logs, and ensure readiness of project resources.
  • Assist with coordinating emergency response projects during outages or storm damage.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2+ years’ experience in telecom, utility construction, or project coordination.
  • Knowledge of fiber and coax construction methods (aerial and underground).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design prints, and SOWs.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
Physical & Work Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments.
  • Comfortable working near utility lines and in confined spaces when necessary.
  • Willingness to assist in the field as needed to support crews.
