We are seeking a QC Manager to implement and manage the QC program at the government work site.
The QC Manager will implement and manage the three phases of control and documentation performed by the inspection and testing personnel. The QC Manager will work together with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the quality of the work on this project.
Participate in pre-construction, kick-off and regular client meetings
Implement the "Three Phase of Control" plan
Ensure work begins after the DOR has finalized the design and construction submittals are approved.
Immediately stop any segment of work which does not comply with contract requirements.
Prepare daily QC Reporting and backup photographic documentation
Hold bi-weekly QC meetings
Update as built drawings, maintain up to date sets for the project site.
Perform punch list and participate final inspections.
Ensure all materials, manuals, warranty certs., as built drawings are correct and complete
2 years of experience as a QC Manager
5 years of combined experience as a PM, QC Mgr, Superintendent or Project Engineer
Experience on construction projects that include the major trades
Experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
CQM Certification or able to complete a CQM certification course for Contractors
Four year accredited college or university program.
