We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician with a background in commercial construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed schematics, floor plans, elevations, cross sections, electrical plans, foundations, and other technical drawings related to new building construction projects.

This role will work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and precise documentation that meets industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings including schematics, floor plans, elevations, cross sections, and electrical plans for commercial construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to produce accurate technical documents.
• Develop plans for foundations, building structures, mechanical systems, and more.
• Modify and update existing drawings based on project changes, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
• Work closely with the construction team to coordinate the flow of information between stakeholders.
• Review and analyze blueprints, construction plans, and other documents to assist in the preparation of accurate CAD drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings are completed on time and adhere to project specifications.
• Support the design team in resolving design-related issues that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working as an AutoCAD Technician in the commercial construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other CAD software is a plus).
• Knowledge of new building construction methods and practices.
• Ability to produce detailed plans, schematics, and drawings for structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards is preferred.
