Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator to lead our organization's software installation, user setup, and application training initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless technology adoption, optimizing user experience, and driving efficient IT operations. This role entails not only technical expertise but also exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Lead the software installation process across the organization, ensuring compatibility, security, and optimal performance of applications.
- Setup and configure user accounts, permissions, and access for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Provide comprehensive training to employees on various software applications, promoting efficient and effective utilization.
- Manage and maintain software licenses, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and optimizing software utilization.
- Procure computer hardware, including laptops and tablets, for employees while adhering to budgetary guidelines and technology standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software needs and recommend suitable solutions to enhance business operations.
- Oversee and maintain software inventory, track usage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing and supporting Procore, Sage, Sharepoint, MS Exchange, and other critical business applications that may include Redteam.
- Implement new software applications company-wide, coordinating with stakeholders and providing training and ongoing support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues promptly, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams if necessary.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the organization's IT capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator, leading software installation, user support, and application training efforts.
- Strong proficiency in managing and supporting Procore, Sage, Sharepoint, MS Exchange, and other software applications.
- Prior experience in implementing new software solutions across an organization, including training and ongoing support.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve software-related issues effectively.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and track initiatives independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proactive mindset, staying updated with technological advancements and recommending innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with software licensing agreements, procurement processes, and budget management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while also being able to work independently.
