Want to join a group of industry veterans building a Fiber network in the Hudson Valley, NY?
Our client is building fiber infrastructure throughout the Hudson Valley and is hiring a Director for their OSP/Fiber build. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be located near the Hudson Valley, NY area.
You will help direct and manage a team that is responsible for taking high-level Fiber designs through to deployment reality. You should be familiar with make-ready design/engineering, FTTH. and NY State Fiber deployments (Aerial & Underground). As well as the Perm 75- NYS pole permitting application process and have built fiber in New York State. (1000 plus miles).
This is a Direct hire role.
Pay Rate: $125-150K DoE plus bonus.
Role:
In this role you will:
Build/Deploy a Fiber Network.
Manage A&E firms, Internal resources, and vendors.
Work collaboratively with the OSP construction teams, Engineering and Network Operations
Oversee schedule and budget adherence.
Manage growth and capacity needs and process improvement.
Utilize KPIs and metrics to monitor the deployment plan.
What it takes to catch our eye:
8+ years working in a Senior role involved in all aspects of design & deployment of all ILEC/CLEC OSP/ISP facilities (aerial, buried/UG, and fiber optic). Familiarity with make-ready design/engineering, FTTH. and NY State Fiber deployments (Aerial & Underground). Perm 75- NYS pole permitting application process.
Builds of 1000 plus miles in NYS
This role is primarily OSP but ISP plant experience is a plus (building/cabinet facilities (including HVAC and AC/DC power)
