Microwave Construction Manager/Integrator - Central, NY

Location: Central NY - Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, or Albany
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Microwave Construction Manager/Integrator with OEM Certifications preferred (Nokia MPR9500, Ericsson MLTN) based in Central NY. As a Microwave Construction Manager/Integrator, you will be responsible for initial site visits, managing and overseeing the construction, installation, integration, and maintenance of microwave point-to-point radio networks. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of microwave networks' architecture, installation, and troubleshooting while also having a basic knowledge of IP addressing, subnets, and path alignment.
The ideal candidates will be based in the Central NY market and will be required to travel within the region and work independently.
In this role you will be responsible for Construction, installation, testing and integration of microwave backhaul. In addition to microwave experience you should have the knowledge of the following: Site Master, fiber testing, Power meter, RF line analyzer, Conductivity meter, Earth Ground Resistivity meter and PIM tester.
Role:
• Read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot microwave point-to-point radio networks
• Interact and develop customer relationships under the direction of the Project Manager for the region
• Attend deployment and other customer meetings as required
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines
• Maintain and enforce Company’s safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
What will catch our eye:
• At least 5 years of experience in microwave construction management and integration
• OEM Certifications preferred (Nokia MPR9500, Ericsson MLTN)
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and other technical specifications
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, and subnets required
• Basic knowledge of path alignment is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
